Super BUSY

So I know I have been behind on blogging so get ready for a lot of blog posts on different things that have been going on so far this month! Get ready for one long post......

Finally Air Conditioner

We finally have our central heat and air and it has been so nice, we almost don't feel normal.  This was the truck when it delivered it to our house

We were so excited!! We had a little things come up that slowed us down but we got it done!! We went from having window units in all the rooms to vents in our ceilings!!

This was Corey while working on the unit

Now we have a thermostat that can be set on whatever we like

4th of July Weekend

Wow was our 4th of July Weekend busy or what......On Saturday we had a family get together with Corey's family and we had some BBQ and we swam, it was such a relaxing day to spend with family.  We got to see people we don't get to see much so that was fun!! Here are some pictures.

We even got to see our little nieces and new little nephew that we don't get to see that much!!

Meet Kynselee: She is so beautiful and has the best personality and such a good baby!!

We have a new little nephew named Jaxson but I didn't get any pictures of him, he is also very cute and a really good baby!!

Here are some of Madison and Kylie, they loved swimming

We had such a good time with all of them! I hope we can make a tradition out of this every year!!

On Sunday Corey and I went to church all dressed up in red, white, and blue....We even got the Camaro out and drove it!

On Monday the 4th we had a get together at my Moms with all her family and we celebrated my 23rd birthday. I don't have any pictures of that but it was alot of fun!

My Birthday

My birthday was July 7th and Corey took off to spend the day with me.  We also had some concrete poured for our foundation on our house (more on that later). But we spent the day together and went shopping and ate dinner at Red Lobster with my Dad and Renetta.

Recipes

People have been asking me for a few recipes that I make on a regular basis so here is the recipes to my Mamaw Smith's Lemonade and Baked Beans

Lemonade

Ingredients:
3/4 gal. cold water
2/3 cup of real lemon juice
2-3 lemons (pulp and juice)
8 level scoops of country time lemonade
3-4 cups of sugar

Mix all ingredients together then start with 3 cups of sugar and then add more if you would like for your taste.
Makes 1 gal. ( I slice extra lemons and put in mine to make it pretty as well)

Baked Beans

Ingredients:
1 large can of Bush's Original baked beans
3/4 cup Ketchup
2 TBS of brown sugar
2 TBS of mustard
2-3 slices of bacon

Mix all ingredients together except bacon and pour into a greased casserole dish. Place bacon on top and Bake at 350 degrees for about 30-40 min or until bacon is done.

(I didn't put bacon on this one because I didn't have any)

We are super busy for the rest of the summer with vacations and stuff I hope to keep everyone updated on everything! Hope everyone is still enjoying our blog!
